We had a very successful flag day on 28 October 2017 where more than 120 Interactors and 10 Rotarians from our Club helped raise funds for the Foundation of Rotary Clubs (Singapore) Ltd.
Special mention must be made of VP James Lee who worked tirelessly to organize the Interactors and lead our Bukit Gombak Eagles Interactors to count the money at the Foundation secretariat. Kudos to the Bukit Gombak Eagles Interactors who insisted on staying on till 10pm to ensure that every bag is counted and every cent banked in. Special thanks to PP Lip Kee, Co-Chair of Organising committee and to YSC Chair Dr Hoh who rallied the Interactors. Not forgetting our volunteers who played key roles in the event - PP Jimmy, Rotarians Ronald, Mee Lee, Deblina, Hassan, Connie, satellite club members, Jean and Fredrick and last but not least, our Interactors from Bukit Gombak Eagles, Global Indian International School (Queenstown and East Coast), Hwa Chong Institution, Catholic Junior College, Raffles Institution, Tanjong Katong Girls Secondary School.
