The Interact Coordinating Committee (ICC) organized a meeting that saw the participation of 13 interact clubs in Singapore district 3310. They include Hwa Chong, Raffles (yr 5-6), ACS(Independent), ASRJC, ACJC, BGEIC, VJC, TKGS, JPJC, GIIS, National JC, Nanyang JC and YIJC.
The clubs shared how they innovated through this challenging times, turning physical projects to online, including leveraging videos to educate, eposters and social media to publicize, online meeting platforms to engage the communities they serve. Truly exemplary efforts in turning adversity into opportunities....and bringing the true meaning of AGILE INTERACT.
Separately ICC and YSC will be jointly conducting Project Accendo, a project to spread awareness of mental illness and health in Singapore. The project will be a 3 part effort, starting with a webinar to be held on 9 May 2020 (Sat) from 10-12pm open to all Interact clubs, Rotarians and youths from Youth Corp. Part 2 will involve rolling out the campaign to all interact clubs in SG. And part 3 will be piloting a mental literacy program in partnership with IMH. Look out for more details on this project.
