Description
Purulia is a backward rural and poor area of West Bengal, India. Rotary Club of Purulia is working in the field of Eye Care as savior since its inception in the year 1968 in this region with a motto of “Service Above Self”. The club has dedicated a Multi Speciality hospital to the community on 17th December 2017. The hospital has been equipped with modern equipment. The club wants to add an Immunoassay machine and a portable ECHO machine to its diagnostic unit.

Description
The number of low income and unemployed young people in the North Taiwan area has increased over the years, especially in more remote areas like Emei town. Many of them want to learn how to work in the tea industry, but due to a lack of education resources, they can't get the training they need to do the job. They are not highly educated making it difficult to get other jobs in the cities. This also includes young people from immigrant families who are even more disadvantaged.
 
Overview
  • Teach 10 fully skilled tea masters under 35 years old during first year, who will be able to join the tea industry workforce right after training.
  • Help collaborating local government agency to create a sustainable training system and measurement system in order for them to carry on this project in the years to come.
  • Establish a long term, sustainable training program which successfully creates impact in the local community in collaboration with local government agency.

Description
The 'Operation Uplift Sallacong' is a multifaceted program to uplift Sallacong Elementary School and its entire community, the Barangay San Mariano, which was formerly called Sallacong.
 
Overview
  • To provide a stable water system, secured with fence, which can provide potable water to the entire community including the Sallacong Elementary School.
  • To provide safe and useful latrines that the students and teachers can use in Sallacong Elementary School.
  • To help the community members prevent diseases with Citronella planting to prevent Dengue fever, and conducting 'Cervical Cancer Screening and Awareness' program for cervical cancer and doing 'Minor Surgical, Medical and Dental Mission'.
  • To help in the community economics and financial development by conducting a livelihood program seminar on Citronella production.
